Brighton
Brighton or ‘London by the sea,’ as it is known with its liberal approach to life enabled John Robert Young to have the freedom to wander the streets, beach and seafront, photographing whatever took his fancy. Shot between 1968 and 2009 many of these pictures could not be taken today.
